Celltrion Group took its first step in the healthcare industry with the establishment of Celltrion Healthcare in December 1999 and has been excelling into one of the top competitors in the industry with our goal of "working towards the promotion of the value in health and welfare." Within Celltrion Group, Celltrion Inc. has become a frontrunner in biologics developments by specializing in the development and production of antibody therapeutics, and is advancing new biopharmaceuticals that treat various viral diseases such as pandemic/seasonal influenzas and rabies while Celltrion Pharm Inc. specializes in the development and production of chemically synthesized drugs. In addition, other members of Celltrion Group include Celltrion GSC Co., Ltd., which is responsible for supplying the raw materials that are needed for the production of pharmaceuticals, Celltrion Chemical Research Institute, which is responsible for the development of new synthetic drugs, and the Celltrion Welfare Foundation, which practices our corporate social responsibilities. Furthermore, Celltrion Healthcare--which is responsible for marketing and sales--has established a strong global distribution network and is currently preparing for the launching of Celltrion's antibody biological therapeutics with its regional partners in more than 120 different countries. Therefore, Celltrion Healthcare will distribute the medicinal drug products developed by Celltrion and Celltrion Pharm into the global market.
